One Year Later - May 25, 2008

Mason started out his 1st birthday party by taking a little rest on the floor. He was getting mentally psyched for the day. While Mason rested, Mommy made a LEGO birthday cake and Daddy got food and, of course, beer for the party. At first, Mason was very careful with his cake but eventually he was covered in yumminess.

BBQ at Uncle Andy's and Aunt Kim's

Mason loves the Sindelar's! We had a great time running around and swinging in Uncle Andy's backyard. All the Sindelar's were in one place at one time!!

Fun at Auntie Tessa's House

Mason had a great time bonding with all the boys, and Norah, at Auntie Tessa's house. We celebrated Mason's birthday, Memorial Day, Auntie Jamie and Russ' engagement, Auntie Kally's graduation AND Camden making his entrance into the world. It was a big night. We had a great time, despite the storms.

1st Birthday Fun

Bruno liked the cupcake as much as Mason. Mason was nice enough to share his treats.
Mason got his first present!! He actually liked the present more than the box! Mom and Dad did good on that one. We were pretty proud.
The guys had to assemble the car. After Mom heard something drop on the floor, Dad announced "so, it's only missing ONE screw."
What's behind Present #1: It's a New Car!

More 1st Birthday Fun

We took Mason out for a nice, Italian dinner for his 1st birthday.
Once we got home, Mason got to eat his first cupcake. He devoured it and even shared a little with the dogs. It was great fun.

YUM!!

Classes of 2008

Mom finished up her first year of teaching at Buhler High School just in time for Mason's first birthday. Here are some pics of her students. The last one is her most challenging student and he is going to be in her "class" for a while. . . :)

Little Husker Fan

Mason found his Husker hat from Nana and decided to wear it proud. He thought it was funny to take it on and off.

Weekend + Mom & Dad = FUN

Mason thought an interesting use of the "Plumbers cone" would be to put it on his head. He wore it around for quite a while until his head got too heavy.

We went to the rodeo for the first time last weekend. It was a first for all of the Sindelar's. Mason had fun playing in the dirt and he even ate a little grass along the way. Mommy had trouble with the calf roping and Daddy was upset that there was no beer, but all and all we had a great time.

Mason's First Tractor Ride

Our neighbor, Dennis, stopped by for a special visit. He came to give Mason his very first tractor ride. Daddy went along for the fun too. He seems like a natural behind the wheel.

Mason Enjoys Grandpa Sam's Harmonica

Mason walks . . . and then falls

Just push the play button and you will see the little guy roaming around the house. He does pretty well, until he hits the floor.

Mason Learns to Walk

Since Mason has learned to walk, he has had nothing to do with crawling. He also doesn't stay in one place too long, so the first 2 pics are a little blurry.

Mason loves to hang out with Dad. And he has also learned how to take off his pants. I am not sure if he learned that on his own or during one of their "Man Talks".

In the last pictures, Mason is at his best. One he looks like Popeye. All he needs is spinach! In the other, he has his finger straight up his nose. His finger is just the right size. Quite an action shot.
